One of the suspects who pleaded guilty in connection with the October 2017 shooting at a Selma nightclub will have a parole hearing this week.

Kenneth O'Neal Ingram, 36, will have a probation hearing Thursday for manslaughter and two counts of first-degree assault, which he pleaded guilty to in August 2022.

He and Juantonio Cosby, 30, were both charged with murder and two counts of first-degree assault stemming from an incident at an East Selma nightclub where Shykereya Leggett, 20, who was shooting a 10-month-old child at the time, was staying and then-31-year-old Eddie Williams of Selma was shot in the leg.

After Ingram entered his guilty plea, Cosby was found guilty last year of first-degree murder and assault. Cosby received two concurrent 60-year prison sentences.

Ingram's expected release date is October 15, 2037, before his parole hearing.
