Motorcyclist killed in Pueblo accident; Police believe speeding is the likely cause

PUEBLO, Colo. (KKTV) – A motorcyclist was killed in a collision with an SUV in Pueblo Tuesday evening.

At 8:20 p.m., police were called to Highway and Willis on the western edge of town. The driver was dead when first responders reached the scene. At the time of writing, he had not been identified.

The Pueblo Police Department told 11 News the accident is still under investigation but appears to have been caused by the motorcyclist speeding. Witnesses told officers the driver did not turn on his headlights, but investigators have not been able to confirm this at this time.
