Dynamite opened with Pac, Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli and Marinna Shafir cutting a promo directed at Wheeler Yuta and Danielson.

Ricochet came first in his international title fight against Ospreay. They waited a moment before locking up and fighting for control. The crowd chanted “This is great” as they made a clear breakthrough.

They had a fast-paced sequence that ended in a double backflip standoff and AEW chants. They had already delivered a lot of great action before they had even been in the ring for 10 minutes.

There is a way to do this justice with a description. Similar to Ospreay's fight against Pac, these were two of the best high flyers in the world combining their talents and putting on a fantastic performance.

It's been several years since the two were able to test each other, so we got to see them use all the tricks they've picked up in that time.

Considering it probably won't be their last encounter, it's good that they've been given room to grow, but it's hard to think of many ways they could top themselves.

We saw them counter many of each other's big attacks and even steal a few from each other before it ultimately ended with both men lowering their shoulders as The Aerial Assassin pinned Ricochet. It was ruled a draw, much to the audience's chagrin. Both men stated that they wanted to restart the game, so Tony Khan urged them to continue.

They began exchanging blows and Ospreay hit a Hidden Blade, but Konosuke Takeshita attacked him, causing the referee to call the bell. Big Take let both men down before posing with Billy Goat's title.

Notable moments and observations

• Shafir, who spoke Russian, was quite intimidating. The music in the video was great.
• The Ricochet that took down Ospreay again after a rollover was a great moment.
• The double backflip was timed almost perfectly.
• Ricochet hit a really nice hurricanrana off the barricade.
