Large police presence responds to Dayton apartment complex after gun call

A large police force was called to an apartment complex in Dayton on Tuesday evening.

According to Montgomery County Regional Dispatch, around 11:20 p.m., Dayton police were called to the Riverstone Apartments on Grafton Avenue for reports of someone with a gun.

Initial scanner traffic indicated there were reports of a shooting, but a dispatch sergeant could not confirm this.

Video from the scene shows paramedics on scene and several Dayton police cruisers.

Residents of the apartment were seen outside while officers investigated the complex.
