Helldivers 2 players, there's a big final battle going on for Turing in your space station MO, and here's a video of General Brasch suplexing a tank that you can only watch if you win

Helldivers 2's latest mission to build this space station came with some unforeseen challenges for Super Earth – the biggest of which was a complete PSN outage. Now, however, the current Grand Order is entering its final stages, and it looks like it will be defined by one last big battle against Turing, even if you won't necessarily fight for it.

Yes, there have already been many small victories in this Ministry's quest to facilitate the construction of this new, state-of-the-art xenoentomology center where you can scour some gig structures and get on with assembling the big new toy in Gallivare's orbit, but things aren't there yet completely over.

After surviving that outage earlier this week, the divers were doing well. Since then, they have been able to score a major victory in defending Shelt, preventing the Automatons from advancing into Mastia and potentially making the ongoing battle on the insect front a little tougher in that order.

At the time of writing, in less than 24 hours – just over 20 to be exact – a major attack has been launched on Turing, the only planet the Divers must hold to achieve victory. Here's the thing, though: Super-Earth's forces are currently a bit split between this planet and nearby Acamar IV, as this is one of those situations where the masses and the hardcore generals seem to have different ideas about how best to do so things should proceed.

Over on the Helldivers 2 subreddit, you'll find people urging their colleagues to go to Acamar – where around 10,000 divers are currently battling to complete the liberation of a planet that's still 89% free. There are now just over 19,000 divers on Turing itself, 30% of the way to successful defense.

The logic of the former faction is as follows: the attack on Turing seems to come from the Acamar system. So if this one falls, Turing should be automatically rescued without the risk of it taking too long to conquer it directly.

I definitely don't want to be biased because I'm not Sun Tzu. So all I can say is that while writing this story, I also came across a cool fan-made Helldivers 2 animation by a YouTuber named EPG-6, which at one point shows General Brasch outsmarting a tank. I've embedded this thing – which its creator says was created using “models extracted and manipulated by the guys at the Helldivers Archive Discord” – below, but you can only click play on the main quest , which this article is about, is successful.

Pinky promise? Okay, then go out and help hold Turing.
