155 combat operations on the front in the last 24 hours

This was announced by the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on Wednesday, October 2, at 8:00 a.m. in a war update, Ukrinform reports.

“The enemy is taking advantage of its advantage in manpower and equipment and is relentlessly attacking our positions. The Ukrainian defenders steadfastly hold back the onslaught of the occupiers and inflict maximum losses on the enemy,” the General Staff said.

According to the update, on October 1, the Russian army carried out 68 air strikes against the positions of the Ukrainian armed forces and population centers, using 124 guided aerial bombs and two rockets.

Russian troops launched more than 3,810 grenade attacks on cities and villages and the positions of Ukrainian defenders, including 124 MLRS attacks.

Enemy airstrikes targeted Bilopillia, Vyshenky, Studenok, Pavlivka, Stepne, Tokarivka, Ulanove, Lyptsi, Vovchansk, Petropavlivka, Kruhljakivka, Nadija, Markove, Chasiv Yar, Kostiantynivka, Kleban-Byk, Romanivka, Berestok, Chunyshyne, Vodianske, Pokrovsk, Bohoiavlenka , Novopavlivka and Zaporizhia.

Yesterday, Ukrainian aircraft, rocket forces and artillery carried out eight attacks on areas of concentration of enemy personnel, weapons and military equipment.

Russian troops continued their offensive operations in the Kharkiv sector. A total of six fighting operations were recorded there. Fighting broke out near Starytsia and Vovchansk.

There were 25 enemy attacks in the Kupyansk sector. Ukrainian forces repelled the invaders' attacks near Synkivka, Novoosynovka, Kurelivka, Novoselivka, Vyshneve, Kolisnykivka, Hlushkivka and Kruhlyakivka.

In the Lyman sector, the Russian army launched 17 attacks, trying to advance near Chasiv Yar, Hryhorivka and towards Stupochky.

In the Kramatorsk sector, the invaders attacked Ukrainian positions near Andriivka, Klishchiivka, Maiske and Markove eight times. The situation is under the control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

In the Toretsk sector, Russian troops, supported by aircraft, carried out 16 attacks near Toretsk and Shcherbynivka.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 25 assault and offensive operations by the Russian Army near Vozdvyzhenka, Myroliubivka, Krasnyi Yar, Lysivka, Novohrodivka and Selydove. The largest concentration of enemy attacks was recorded near Myroliubivka, Yelyzavetivka and Lysivka. Russian armed forces actively used combat aircraft.

In the Kurakhove sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 25 attacks outside Tsukuryne, Hirnyk, Heorhiivka, Kostiantynivka and Katerynivka.

In the Vremivka sector, the Russian army launched an unsuccessful attack on the positions of the Ukrainian forces in the direction of Bohoiavlenka.

In the Orichiv sector, the invaders attacked Ukrainian positions near Novodanivka, Mali Shcherbaky and Kamianske seven times.

There were no signs that enemy offensive groups had formed in the Volyn and Polissia sectors.

On the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, Russian troops continued to actively use artillery and aircraft from their territory to attack Ukrainian cities and villages.

Ukraine's operation in Russia's Kursk region continues. Last day, the Russian army attacked the region with 20 guided aerial bombs.
