The crypto app Venga made its public debut at the European Blockchain Convention in Barcelona

The Web3 startup Venga presented itself this week at the European Blockchain Convention (EBC) in Barcelona. The event marks the first time the Venga team will appear publicly to share their vision of accelerating mainstream adoption of cryptocurrencies through an easy-to-use super app.

At Europe's leading blockchain event EBC, more than 6,000 crypto enthusiasts met in Barcelona for two days of keynote lectures, roundtables, networking opportunities, workshops, seminars and after-parties. The conference took place in Venga's hometown and the team was there throughout as a gold sponsor.

Venga maintained its own cool and busy booth at the convention with rooftop banners that made it easier for the community to notice the brand in the expansive Montjuïc exhibition center. In addition to running their own stand at EBC, team members took part in events over the two days.

Venga Chief Compliance Officer Ana Carolina Oliveira participated in a prime-time panel discussion on MiCA (Markets in Crypto Assets) regulation on Wednesday. You and the Compliance team have direct knowledge of this legislation as Venga prepares to apply for MiCA registration.

On Thursday, Venga CEO Michael Stroev gave a dynamic presentation of Venga's project to industry professionals on the main stage and then took part in a panel discussion on cryptocurrency adoption, leaving a big impression on both occasions. To end this edition of the European Blockchain Convention on a high note, Venga also hosted a pop-up event at its booth with drinks, networking opportunities and a live DJ.

More than 300 speakers contributed to EBC, including senior figures from The Sandbox, Bitpanda, Polygon, Bitstamp, Bitwise and Kraken. More than 100 sessions were planned on three stages; further highlights included a startup battle and a 3,000 m² exhibition area. And Venga put his presence at the forefront of the event.

Venga's mobile app allows European consumers to access the necessary crypto services for the first build and will soon integrate more advanced innovations from the decentralized space. It offers a streamlined user experience that makes it easier for beginners to enter the digital economy and use blockchain products. The team's presence at EBC provided an opportunity to meet their growing community and raise awareness of Venga's mission to reduce barriers to Web3 adoption. It was the team's first official public appearance, and we can at least say they stood out.
