The ATP China Open 2024 is the 18th edition of the event.

While the top seeds will try to stay in the race, the wildcard entries could pose significant challenges. Stan Wawrinka, Yi Zhou and rising star Yunchaokete Bu are the tournament's wildcard entries. As for the men's doubles main draw, the Italian duo Simone Bolelli/Andrea Vavassori are the top seeds. The Ivan Dodig/Rohan Bopanna pair is seeded second and will face Francisco Cerundolo/Nicolas Jarry in the opening round. Bopanna is the only Indian player participating in the event.
