EDINBURG, Texas – Edinburgh Police are proud to announce the arrival of their first therapy dog, Domino. Domino, a 4-year-old male poodle, was cared for through K9s For Warriors, a program that provides therapy dogs to law enforcement and first responders who may be exposed to traumatic events in the line of duty.

Domino also supports victims of violence and offers comfort in their most difficult moments. Its presence helps reduce stress, promote a sense of calm, and provide comfort in difficult times.

Domino looks forward to working with both the community and department, connecting and offering affection wherever it is needed. He will attend city events and make appearances at local schools where the public can meet him and learn firsthand how he is helping the department humanize the badge.
