“Don’t worry, my friend AI will be here soon” … UFC boss Dana White tells Renato Moicano that AI will correct the rankings after the recent shutdown

After his victory over Benoit Saint-Denis at UFC Paris last Saturday, the Brazilian failed to climb the lightweight rankings despite a clear second-round result.

Renato Moicano, one of the most outspoken fighters on the UFC roster, made his anger over the rankings public a few days later.

Luckily for “Money Moicano,” he has the support of his UFC boss Dana White, who has continued to regularly complain about the rankings this year, particularly the pound-for-pound rankings, as Jon Jones is not currently ranked number one stands.

Dana White tells Moicano not to worry, AI will soon be used to correct UFC rankings

Given the growing influence of artificial intelligence on everyday life, the UFC CEO recently announced that they are working on an AI system to manage the rankings and will forego a panel to update the rankings.

“Unless the UFC rankings are complete nonsense, I should be ranked No. 6 in the lightweight division tomorrow. Why? In the last 8 months I have fought 3 times and am on a 6 fight winning streak in the lightweight division with 5 stoppages,” Moicano wrote on X.

Speaking about the issues with the rankings, White told Moicano not to worry as AI will soon come into the game to address these ongoing issues.

“Let’s get into it. Khamzat Chimaev is number 12 (ranking), Max Holloway is number 10 (in the lightweight division), the guy he knocked out is number three, so I need to find some media people who know the martial arts and understand the martial arts “We actually do the rankings,” White began to explain in an interview with Kevin Iole.

“The rankings are definitely a problem Moicano, I agree with you 100%, but don't worry, my friend AI will be here soon and this will all be fixed. “We get all these bums who don’t know anything about fighting out of this shit and we bring AI in here and we can improve all these rankings,” he continued.

Although there is a clear issue with the rankings update, the Brazilian doesn't have to worry too much as Alex Pereira defends his title against Khalil Rountree Jr, who is ranked eighth in his division, at UFC 307 this weekend.

Who could possibly be next for Renato Moicano?

Since the 35-year-old is ranked 11th in the division, he made an odd comment about Dan Hooker's fifth-place finish, comparing it to a “turtle up in a tree” and wondering how he got there.

After the two spoke out online, fans' mouths were watering at the thought of a duel between the two sluggers, but Hooker apparently has his eye on Justin Gaethje.

Unfortunately for Moicano, the top of the lightweight division is in a very similar position to what it has been for some time, with the top five having the same names.

A fight between “The Hangman” and “Money” Moicano makes the most sense, although Gaethje has also considered a trilogy fight against Dustin Poirier.
