Ranchers honor the heroes of the Texas Panhandle wildfires at a community dinner

FORT WORTH – The Texas & Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association (TSCRA) Disaster Relief Fund, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that supports ranchers affected by disasters in Texas and Oklahoma, will open on Sunday, Oct. 20 at 5 p.m host a community appreciation dinner Canadian.

Held at Jones Pavilion, this event honors the people, industry partners and first responders who were instrumental in fighting the recent wildfires in the Texas Panhandle.

“This dinner is our way of saying thank you to the people who stepped up when our region needed them most,” said TSCRA President Carl Ray Polk Jr. “Radarers, landowners and rural communities cannot survive disasters alone, and we are grateful to everyone – neighbors, businesses, first responders and leaders who invest time and resources in times of need.”

The TSCRA Disaster Relief Fund raised over $2.5 million to support ranchers and organizations assisting victims in 11 counties affected by the 2024 Texas Panhandle wildfires.

The community event is public. To register, please email [email protected] or click here.
