The biggest movers and shakers in the EA Sports College Football 25 player ratings update

Nearing the halfway point of the college football season EA Sports College Football 25 has made its first major update to player ratings.

The game returned this summer for the first time in more than a decade. Electronic Arts announced at last month's investor day that the release of EA Sports College Football 25 was “beyond expectations.” The EA video game has seen 6.5 million unique players so far.

For the first time in the game's history, athletes will be compensated for having their name, image and likeness. This also means that on-field performances will be included in player ratings updates for the first time.

Colorado Star defensive back and wide receiver Travis Hunter achieves an overall rating of 97 in EA Sports College Football 25. A Heisman Trophy Leading the way with averages of nine catches and 112 yards per game with six touchdowns. Hunter also recorded 16 tackles, two interceptions and a game-winning forced fumble against Baylor.
