Indiana has long been a hotbed of volleyball talent, producing some of the best clubs and high school teams in the country.

This year is no exception as Indianapolis' Roncalli is off to a 22-0 start, including a stunning 3-0 win over reigning SBLive National Champion Hamilton Southeastern (Fishers, Ind.) last week. The win saw the Royals rise 10 places to No. 3 in this week's Top 25 poll, while HSE fell seven places to No. 10.

Another Midwest team, Mercy of Farmington Hills, Michigan, made its debut at No. 7 after getting off to a 15-0 start. The Marlins have beaten some of the top teams in Michigan this season.

A whopping eight teams in this week's poll remain undefeated in October as schools prepare for the postseason.

Mater Dei (Santa Ana, Calif.) and Prestonwood Christian (Plano, Texas) remain ranked No. 1 and No. 2, respectively. Both schools won major regular-season tournaments.
