The Whitehouse Wildcats look to bounce back against the Texas High Tigers

WHITEHOUSE, Texas (KLTV) – The Whitehouse Wildcats look to bounce back this week against Texas High after losing to Mount Pleasant in their opening game.

The Wildcats have wins over Woodrow Wilson and Paris, with losses to Kilgore and Chapel Hill outside the district. Last week, the Wildcats traveled to Mount Pleasant, where the Tigers picked up their first win of the season, 34-21.

This week, Whitehouse hosts the Texas High Tigers and looks to avoid an 0-2 start in district.

Michael Coleman and Kyle Owens ended the game in red zone overtime.

“After losing the first week of district, you’re already a little behind the eight ball,” Owens said. “I definitely don’t think they’re out. I think they can come back and win.”

Kickoff is scheduled for Friday at 7:30 p.m. at Wildcat Stadium.
