Clarksville Police are responding to a barricade situation regarding an unwanted guest at the hotel

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — An unwanted hotel guest in Clarksville is currently barricaded in a room, police said.

The situation began around 1:15 p.m. when police received a 911 call about an unwanted guest at a Country Inn and Suites on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard.

The unwanted guest has become a suspect barricaded in the room and crisis negotiators attempt to negotiate with him. Adjacent rooms were evacuated.

There are many great schools in our area. Congratulations to four midstate schools that have been recognized with National Blue Ribbons for Academic Excellence. They were among six in Tennessee to receive the honor. They were among 356 schools in the United States recognized by the U.S. Department of Education!
