After months of speculation about what the future might hold for the CEO, GM and Head of Creative Tony Khan's All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and Warner Bros. Discovery (WBDD), we finally got some answers. Earlier today, AEW and WBD announced that they had reached a multi-year extension (estimated at “more than $150 million per year, all things considered”) that will lock programming on TNT and TBS while locking down AEW programming The Max streaming service would bring it to the station. Primarily: AEW Dynamite (Wednesdays on TBS) and AEW Collision (Saturdays on TNT) isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

Additionally, the new deal will increase the professional wrestling company's social media presence and give AEW the opportunity to offer additional programming for WBD in the future. Additionally, Max will also begin live-streaming AEW programming for the first time, the same month WWE Raw moves to Netflix. As for AEW pay-per-view events, Max will distribute them at a discounted rate and handle marketing and promotion for the events. Don't expect this to happen in the immediate future, however, as it's eyeing a launch sometime “later in 2025” – which gives plenty of time for event pricing and other details to be rolled out.
