The competition is being held in honor of the grocer's 95th anniversary

To celebrate 95 years of serving customers in the NWI region, Strack & Van Til is offering customers the chance to win a $1,000 Strack & Van Til gift card every day from October 2nd through October 29th .

“We have always been a company rooted in the community and committed to serving the local neighborhood. This special anniversary promotion could truly change the lives of our customers,” said Michael Tyson, Chief Marketing and Merchandising Officer at Strack & Van Til. “It’s our way of showing our gratitude to our loyal customers, many of whom span generations.”

Tyson said shoppers enrolled in the Strack & Van Til Rewards program will automatically be entered into the drawing when they purchase with their rewards account during the promotional period. One winner will be selected at random each day from Wednesday October 2nd through October 29th.

To enroll in the Rewards Program and qualify for the Sweepstakes, individuals may download the Strack & Van app from either Google Play or Apple (iTunes) or visit strackandvantil.com/rewards to create an account. QR codes throughout the store also direct customers to the online rewards registration page.

Tyson said the $1,000 Strack & Van Til gift cards are redeemable for groceries only (excluding alcohol, tobacco, lottery and gift cards) and can be used on either one or multiple visits until the limit is reached .

“We are very excited about this special event to celebrate No. 95,” he said. “Last year we gave away a car. While this was certainly a one-off, we feel that multiple gift cards of this value over such a long period of time would really have a positive impact on more of our customers.”

Tyson said customers enrolled in the rewards program also benefit from additional savings and special offers throughout the year when they enter their phone number at checkout or present the barcode from the app on their phone.
