In conversation with Din Thomas and Alan Jouban MMA today Recently, Davis explained his feelings.

“I’m disappointed we couldn’t keep Kayla here,” Davis said. “For what I think are the two biggest fights of her legacy.

“I don’t like that she ran away from it.”

Davis was referring to fights with Larissa Pacheco and Cris Cyborg.

Pacheco handed Harrison her only career loss and won PFL gold. Meanwhile, the promotion would secure Cyborg's contract with the purchase of Bellator MMA.

After winning two Olympic gold medals, Harrison signed with the PFL and became a two-time champion.

Davis added: “I don’t like that she ran to a brand to validate herself. I appreciate Kayla so much that she doesn't need a brand to validate her.

“She’s so great,” he said. “So that disappointed me.”

For now, Harrison Ketlen has his sights set on Vieira at UFC 307. She nominated Holly Holm in her Octagon debut earlier this year.
