Aurora police are searching for a man wanted in a bias-related shooting

AURORA, Colo. — Police in Aurora are asking for the public's help in finding a gunman who allegedly shot at a group of teenagers while making racist comments.

Police said the shooting happened recently in the 2900 block of S. Havana Street. No injuries were reported.

According to police, the man was wanted for attempted murder. He is described as being between 25 and 35 years old.

The suspect was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt and blue jeans. He was wearing an ID or work badge on a lanyard around his neck and may have been armed with a handgun.

The police did not provide any further information about the incident.
