Inter Iran striker Mahedi Taremi: “Happy to score my first goal”

Mehdi Taremi scored his first ever goal for Inter Milan in their brilliant 4-0 Champions League win over Red Star Belgrade on Tuesday.

Simone Inzaghi's side got off to a good start in Europe's elite club competition after a goalless draw against Manchester City.

In addition to the 32-year-old, Hakan Calhanoglu, Marko Arnautovic and Lautaro Martinez also scored.

Inter have taken four points after the first two rounds of the Champions League and have not yet conceded a goal.

After the game, Mehdi Taremi increased Instagram to celebrate his breakthrough.

He posted a photo with the caption: “I'm delighted to score my first goal for my team and delighted to be named man of the match tonight. Thank you to my teammates and all of our wonderful fans for your continued support!
