ESPN's SP+ predicts the final score for every B1G game in Week 6

ESPN's SP+ has updated its predictions for every game in Week 6.

This includes 8 matchups between B1G teams, including #3 Iowa at #3 Ohio State and #10 Michigan in Washington. Illinois and Maryland are the only B1G teams not playing this week.

Each participating B1G team will compete in a conference match. UCLA and Minnesota are the most desperate for a win, as both teams enter Week 6 0-2 in conference play.

Rutgers will try to prove they deserve a spot in the rankings as they try to get a road win at Nebraska. Meanwhile, Penn State, Oregon, Ohio State and Indiana also want to stay perfect this season.

Here is SP+'s points prediction for every B1G game in Week 6:

  • Michigan State 11, Oregon 39
  • Purdue 19, Wisconsin 31
  • UCLA 9, Penn State 40
  • Indiana 28, Northwest 17
  • Iowa 12, Ohio State 29
  • Rutgers 18, Nebraska 25
  • Michigan 23, Washington 24
  • USC 29, Minnesota 25

Bill Connelly's formula calls for Oregon, Penn State, Wisconsin, Indiana and Ohio State to get comfortable wins in Week 6. Meanwhile, the model sees close games elsewhere in the conference. At SP+, Washington is coming off a 1-point victory over Michigan, with Michigan covering the +2 spread.

SP+ also predicts USC will have a tough time with Minnesota. The formula predicts a 4-point win for the Trojans, meaning the team won't cover the 9.5-point lead.
