UCL: Dortmund at the top, Real Madrid in the bottom half after Gameweek 2 [Full table]

Borussia Dortmund is at the top of the Champions League table after this week's second round.

The Bundesliga club beat Celtic 7-1 in an extraordinary game on Tuesday evening.

Nuri Sahin's men now have the maximum points total of six points from two games with a goal difference of +9.

Brest, Benfica, Bayer Leverkusen, Liverpool, Aston Villa and Juventus also have six points each.

Defending champions Real Madrid lost 1-0 to Lille and sit in the bottom half of the 36-team table.

AC Milan, Young Boys, Red Bull Salzburg, RB Leipzig, Sturm Graz and Girona have not yet won a single game.

After each club has played eight games, the top eight advance to the round of 16, and those between ninth and 24th attempt to compete in the play-offs.
