After his victory Nursulton Rouziboev Earlier this year, Joaquin Buckley made a bold comment about Conor McGregor that left a bad taste in the mouths of many in the MMA world. One of those figures was UFC commentator and former “Champ-Champ” Daniel Cormier.

McGregor as “McH*e”, Buckley even shot his family. When Cormier later noted that he wasn't a fan of the call, the UFC welterweight added more fuel to the fire by blasting Cormier, Michael Bisping and Chael Sonnen on social media, stating, “You mothers raised some balls!!”

Now Buckley's fight against UFC 307 is coming up Stephen ThompsonCormier and Buckley sat down to talk. Buckley began by saying, “What you said was pretty harsh bro, I mean you know what I'm saying, you called me idiot and stuff…” refers to Cormier's tirade against his comments on social media.

But the Louisiana native responded with, “No, because if you say anything about my mother, you will definitely get this. You no longer get Daniel the TV guy, but Daniel the guy from Lafayette. That's what you get at the end of the day, brother, I swear to God. Every time.”

It's a stark reminder that trash talk in MMA can sometimes feel like a personal attack, causing a switch to be flipped for many fighters. Although Henry Cejudo tried to make an educated prediction about the problems Kayla Harrison might face at UFC 307, the women's bantamweight star was having none of it.

Kayla Harrison isn't happy with Henry Cejudo's warning for her at UFC 307

At UFC 307, Kayla Harrison meets No. 1 No. 2 Ketlen Viera in a decisive bout in the women's bantamweight division. But should she be worried about her opponent's background? According to “Triple C” Henry Cejudo, Harrison may face difficulties due to Viera’s judo knowledge.

On a recent episode of the Pound 4 Pound podcast with Kamaru Usman, Cejudo claimed: “…I think of all the girls that are 135 pounds right now, it could rival her strength because you know Vieira is also a judo black belt and I think she has better hands than Harrison.”

A two-time Olympic gold medalist in judo, Harrison wasn't happy with the analysis. In an interview with Submission Radio, she countered by saying, “I don't know why the hell they talk about a judo black belt making a difference when there are different levels. That would be like me telling Henry, “Oh, that kid wrestles in college in high school, so you're going to have trouble beating him.” Benign. Nonsense. That’s fine, I’m looking forward to showing once again why Henry is a jealous little man.”

Although Cejudo being overshadowed is quite a sight, Harrison's confidence is high after defeating Holly Holm at UFC 300. So will the Olympian continue her meteoric rise in the UFC or will Cejudo's warning come back to haunt her? her?
