Police are looking for suspects for dog theft

WILKES-BARRE — City police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man who allegedly took a woman's dog from a store on North Pennsylvania Avenue late Wednesday night.

The woman told police she left her dog, named Diesel, outside a store at 424 N. Pennsylvania Ave. just before 11:30 p.m. left behind to go in and purchase an item

As the woman left the store, she noticed her dog was missing.

Surveillance cameras recorded a man waving to the dog before walking away with the dog, police reported.

The dog is brown and three years old.
