The Halide Mark II app has been updated to support camera controls for iPhone 16

The popular camera app Halide Mark II has been updated with support for the new “Camera Controls” on the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro. The update allows users to quickly access exposure value (EV) or focus settings via the camera control button. Additionally, a new “locked” setting prevents accidental inputs during use.

Halide's control is unmatched. Shoot without Apple's image processing with our minimal, film-like Process Zero – or use Apple Processing for HEIC/JPG shooting and ProRAW. Our ProRAW support is second to none. Find the right balance between file size and editing latitude by choosing between 12-bit and 10-bit ProRAW and megapixel options. Easily switch to native RAW for more detail and speed.

What's new in this version:
We're excited to introduce support for recording controls on iPhone 16! You can now quickly access EV and manual focus controls with a few swipes.

We also added a “Lock” element. We know it can be frustrating to lose the perfect shot due to a wrong shot. Once you've entered your settings, set the recording controls to “Lock” to protect yourself from errors.

Why do we only start with three recording control options? We've found that having fewer options makes navigation quicker and easier. EV and manual focus felt right at the moment, but if you want more, we'd love to know what!
