Shooting in Little Village leaves 1 dead

CHICAGO – One person was killed in a shooting Tuesday evening in the Little Village neighborhood.

According to police, he was found shortly before midnight with gunshot wounds to his chest and body in the 3500 block of West Cermak Road.

Paramedics took him to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The Cook County coroner's office has not yet identified him.

Police said there were no arrests. Area Four investigators are investigating the shooting.
