SA20 2025 Auction: Full List of Sold, Unsold Players and Final Updated Pre-Season 3 Squads

The SA20 2025 auction took place in Cape Town on October 1 as six franchise teams prepared for the third season of South Africa's premier T20 league.

The auction featured 188 players from around the world, but only 13 spots were available for teams. With the new season set to begin on January 9, 2025, franchises were eager to finalize their rosters.

Reeza Hendricks, South Africa's opener, was the most expensive purchase of the auction. MI Cape Town bought it for R4.3 million following a tender process. His signing came after an intense bidding war with Pretoria Capitals.

Other new signings included England pacer Richard Gleeson and West Indies batsman Evin Lewis. The auction was led by renowned auctioneer Richard Madley, known for his role in the IPL auctions.
