An extreme pitcher duel to start this series, with both Cole Ragans and Corbin Burnes pitching like playoff aces. Bobby Witt Jr., of course, drove in the only pass of the game.

The Braves, unlike the Mets, seemed a bit battered by the schedule (and their own injuries). However, Padres starter Michael King was the real star in this game with 12 strikeouts in 7.0 scoreless innings. He just looked evil.
