CM Punk was the guest referee for WWE NXT's debut on the CW Network, which featured Ethan Page vs. Trick Williams.

The full match, in which Williams became a two-time WWE NXT Champion, can be seen at the bottom of this post.

However, the celebrations for fans at Chicago's Allstate Arena didn't stop when WWE NXT went off the air.

Footage of CM Punk in the ring with the Williams was shared on WWE NXT Twitter, as seen below, with the words:

“I don't want to interrupt the champion's celebration, but I have to tell you a little secret.

“On your way out, ladies and gentlemen, grab a pizza from Lou Malnati.

“Share it with your friends, share it with your neighbors, remember I love you.

“We are…”

Lou Malnati's Pizzeria has been serving Chicago residents deep dish pizza since 1971.

Last night's CW debut featured new belts for the NXT and NXT Women's Championship.

The episode also saw Cora Jade return during the NXT Women's Championship match between Roxanne Perez and Giulia.

Losing his NXT Championship didn't sit well with Ethan Page, who subsequently took shots at Punk on Twitter.
