Police are investigating shooting in Lumberton

LUMBERTON, NC (WMBF) – Lumberton Police are working to solve a shooting that left one person injured.

Officers were called to Eisenhower Street around 7:35 p.m. Tuesday for a report of a person being shot.

They met with the 38-year-old victim and learned he had been shot in the 1200 block of 7th Street.

According to police, the victim is expected to be OK.
