Controversial streamer Fousey was banned from the Ontario mall during the livestream

A popular YouTuber with a massive following, equivalent to about a quarter of Canada's total population, has been banned from an Ontario mall after attempting to stream in the busy mall.

It seems that controversial content creators are currently trending in the Greater Toronto Area, including controversial figures like streamer Adin Ross and most recently another streamer best known for starting the prank video trend of the 2010s.

California-based content creator Yousef Erakat, better known by his online personas FouseyTube/Fousey, was recently banned from Square One Shopping Center in Mississauga when he attempted to stream a shopping trip at the mall.

Fousey, who has over 10 million subscribers and more than 2 billion total views on YouTube alone, had hoped to stream interactions with mall visitors, but it didn't quite work out as planned.

Security quickly caught up with the streamer, after which Fousey exchanged tense words with mall security guards and even Peel Regional Police officers after he was asked to vacate the premises and repeatedly refused.

After several demands for an explanation as to why he was asked to leave the mall, a security guard explains that Fousey – with his private security and camera team in tow – was seen on a surveillance camera jumping over a couch, a seemingly reasonable move Reason for being kicked out of a private retail company.

Still, Fousey — who was banned from streaming platform Twitch for hateful behavior toward the LGBT community — can't take “no” for an answer in the clip and demands to “speak to the person responsible.”

“Let him come out of his office and talk to me while he’s watching from behind the camera,” Fousey demands.

When a police officer calmly instructs Fousey to clear the mall “in front of a million other security guards.” [guards] Come on,” the content creator finally makes his way to the exit, but not before calling one of the security guards a “bitch.”

Security then informs Fousey that he will be banned from the premises for three months, to which he yells back, “Bitch, I'm never coming back here in my fucking life,” and baselessly claims that he's being discriminated against by mall employees like cameras will keep rolling.

In a similar stream, Fousey is seen entering stores at the nearby Sherway Gardens shopping center, filming mall visitors without their consent, and interviewing strangers while on private property.

At one point, a voice can even be heard behind the camera warning Fousey about the security precautions – evidence that the group behind the stream was fully aware that what they were doing would not go down well with mall staff.
