As a convertible loverThe Fourth generation Lincoln Continental has a special place in my heart as an icon and rarity four-door folding roofbut I never knew it was also traditionally offered two-door hardtop coupe as well as. America had a penchant for plus sizes two-door cars This maximized outdoor space while providing residents with average indoor space. Before stumbling upon this video, I didn't know that the 1966 Continental was offered in a two-door coupe configuration and wasn't all that different visually from the four-door models. To my eyes it looks a bit like a Buick Riviera from the side. (I honestly only saw the part of the video where the host makes the same comparison after I wrote the previous sentence, so I'm glad it's not just me seeing this.)

The Lincoln Continental is a true icon of 1960s American design, and I'll now be scouring the streets for a fourth-generation two-door hardtop Continental. Watch this video to learn everything you ever wanted to know about the 1966 Lincoln Continental two-door coupe.
