Walker police are searching for a driver who struck a pedestrian on Wilson Avenue

WALKER, Mich. – Walker police are searching for the driver who struck a person and left the scene of an accident this morning.

A 23-year-old was struck by a vehicle on Walker Avenue between Bristol Avenue and Milford Street sometime between 3:30 and 4:05 a.m. However, the driver of the vehicle did not remain there.

The victim suffered life-threatening injuries and is in hospital.

Based on evidence collected at the scene, investigators believe the vehicle is a 2019-2024 Chevrolet Silverado or GMC Sierra pickup truck.
