UFC's Ottman Azaitar saved manager Ali Abdelaziz from drowning, captured on video

MMA manager Ali Abdelaziz, who made some of the biggest and best fighters step foot in a cage, almost drowned during a recent trip to Hawaii… and probably would have died if it hadn't been for that Ottman Azaitar.

“Ottman is a great boy. He has a big heart. He literally saved my life,” Abdelaziz said TMZ Sports when asked about the frightening incident.

FYI: Azaitar is a 34-year-old lightweight fighter signed to the UFC. He has a record of 13-2… and last fought in mid-2023.

We learn what happened when Ali, Ottman and a few others went swimming near a waterfall in Hawaii… before heading to Salt Lake City for UFC 307, where Abdelaziz was Kayla Harrison Fight on the map.

Unfortunately, Abdelaziz, who is not a good swimmer, ended up in an area deeper than he expected… and when he couldn't reach the bottom, Ali's head began to sink below the water line and panic ensued.

Thinking quickly, Azaitar swam to shore where he grabbed a rope-like vine from the forest before bringing the line to Ali and pulling him to safety.
