Police say they are looking for women who robbed a woman in a wheelchair – NBC10 Philadelphia

Philadelphia police officials are asking the public for help in identifying a woman they say robbed a wheelchair-bound woman in broad daylight in Center City on September 13, 2024.

According to police, the incident occurred on September 13, 2024 at approximately 1 p.m. in the 1000 block of Market Street when a woman who was confined to a wheelchair told police another woman took her bag, $800 taken from it and handed back to her.

The police published pictures of the suspected thief online.

After the incident, the woman who was believed to have stolen the cash fled on foot, police said.

Police officials described the woman as having long braided hair and wearing glasses, a white shirt, black pants and blue and white sneakers at the time of the incident.
