Bank of America customers report outage on website and banking app

(Gray News) – Bank of America is reportedly suffering from a widespread outage that is affecting customers' access to their accounts.

According to Downdetector, a consumer outage reporting website, the problems began around 12 p.m. Eastern Time on Wednesday.

Several commenters on Downdetector expressed difficulty logging into their accounts on Bank of America's website and banking app.

CNN reported that many customers complained about not being able to see their account balances. Some who were able to access their accounts were surprised to see the zero balance.

In a statement, Bank of America said: “Some customers today are experiencing issues accessing their account and balance information. These issues are being addressed and are largely resolved. We apologize for any inconvenience.”
