LaNorris Sellers injury update: Gamecocks' QB status revealed in South Carolina vs. Ole Miss report

Ole Miss will travel to Columbia to turn himself in South Carolina this week, and we now know a little more about what each team could bring to the market as the first injury report for the game was released on Wednesday.

Gamecocks quarterback LaNorris Salesman missed Week 4 with an ankle injury, but used the week off to recover and Practiced on Wednesday according to the coach Shane Beamer. He was also listed as the team's starting quarterback has released its depth chart Monday, so all signs point to him being fine.

“LaNorris and Rocket were both out there. They both looked good,” the coach said after practice on Wednesday. “Were they 100 percent? I wouldn't say they were 100 percent, but they both told me they felt great. And they look good and I also think that both of them can do even more tomorrow.”

The game marks the return of the former South Carolina receiver Juice Wells to Colombia. After starting his college career with the Gamecocks, he spent the last two seasons with the Gamecocks James Madison. As a Rebel, he recorded 14 catches for 274 yards and four touchdowns this season.

He is one of many options in the passing attack for Ole Miss, which ranks second in the country with 390.4 yards per game. South Carolina understands the challenge it faces on defense with so many weapons to retain.

Kickoff of the contest between the Rebels and Gamecocks is scheduled for Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET at Williams-Brice Stadium.
