Lance Heard and John Campbell injury update: Tennessee vs. Arkansas

Tennessee offensive tackles Lance Heard and John Campbell were not listed on the SEC student-athlete availability report Wednesday, indicating they will be available for Saturday's game against Arkansas.

That's great news for the Vols, who finished without a tackle in their 25-15 win over Oklahoma on Sept. 21.

Heard, an LSU transfer and the starting left tackle, has missed the last two games due to injury. Campbell, the starting right tackle, left the Oklahoma game with an injury.

No. 4 Tennessee (4-0, 1-0 SEC) plays Arkansas (3-2, 1-1) in Fayetteville on Saturday (7:30 p.m. ET, ABC).

Here is the SEC student-athlete availability report for players from Tennessee and Arkansas.

This is how the SEC availability report works

The SEC student-athlete availability report was implemented this season for conference games only.

The first report is released on the Wednesday evening of an SEC game week. Daily updates lead to a final report 90 minutes before kick-off of a Saturday game.

Prior to game day, players are classified by their school as available, probable, questionable, doubtful or not for the upcoming game. On match day they are classified as available, decisive or eliminated.

Here's what these designations mean:

• Off: Not played, 0% chance of playing.

• Doubtful: It is unlikely to be played, the probability of it playing is 25%.

• Questionable: Unsafe to play, 50% chance of playing.

• Likely: Probability of Playing, 75% Probability of Playing.

SEC guidelines require schools to accurately report players' eligibility status. If the school is aware that a player may not be able to participate in the upcoming game for any reason (injury, illness, suspension, suspension or personal matter), it must report this.

If this is not done, schools face penalties ranging from $25,000 for the first violation to $100,000 for third and subsequent violations.
