A 33-year-old man is killed in a shooting in Danville

DANVILLE, Va. – Danville police are investigating a fatal shooting that left a 33-year-old man dead.

According to investigators, the incident occurred on Wednesday, October 2, around 10 p.m. in the 200 block of Fagan Street

Officers were called to the scene for a wellness check and found 33-year-old Azra Jermann Keene of Danville lying in a driveway and shot in the upper body.

He was transported to a hospital where he later died.

This incident is still under investigation.
