Police are searching for suspects who eluded officers in East Hartford

EAST HARTFORD, Conn. (WFSB) – Police in East Hartford are searching for two suspects following an incident.

The incident began when officers attempted to stop a vehicle on Brewer Street around 3 a.m. after receiving a report of vandalism.

The three suspects evaded police and abandoned their vehicle near Montague Circle.

One suspect has been arrested and K9 teams are currently searching a nearby wooded area for the other suspects.

The search is still ongoing.
