Motorcyclist dies in Coram accident

A man has died after being hit by a car while riding a motorbike in Coram.

According to police, the man was riding his motorcycle eastbound on Middle Country Road Wednesday evening.

The motorcyclist crashed into a westbound Jeep as it turned left onto Patchogue-Mount Sinai Road, police said.

The motorcyclist was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The Jeep driver was not injured.
