Penn State football commits in action: Long snap highlights and more

What's better than a white out? Two!

While that's certainly true for Penn State players and fans, it doesn't hurt recruiting either. James Franklin got a nice one Thrust to his pitch last week, as an influx of high school talent flocked to Beaver Stadium to watch the Nittany Lions earn a victory over Illinois in an electric atmosphere.

While visits are definitely fun, the real excitement comes from watching future Nittany Lions light things up for their high schools.

Four-star linebacker in the 2025 class Dayshaun Burnett That's exactly what Imani Christian Academy (Pittsburgh, Pa.) did last week in its win over North Catholic (Cranberry Township, Pa.). Although he is listed as a defensive player, Burnett is an athlete in every sense of the word. He plays all over the field, including at quarterback, where he most recently scored on an acrobatic scramble.
