Border data highlights danger of illegal immigration ahead of presidential election

This is the result of newly published data from the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS). 435,000 Illegal aliens with criminal records were released into the United States by the federal government. This includes 13,099 Illegal aliens convicted of murder 62,231 convicted of assault, 15,811 convicted of sexual assault and 2,521 who were convicted of burglary.

CBP released the information after the congressman Tony González of Texas asked the agency to provide his office with statistics on the number of convicted criminal illegal aliens admitted into the country.

US Representative. Tony González

The letter sent to Gonzalez noted that in recent years some jurisdictions have “reduced their cooperation with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).”

In particular, some communities have refused “to comply with ICE requests for detention, even for noncitizens who have been convicted of serious crimes and pose an ongoing threat to public safety.”

The letter states: “ICE recognizes that some jurisdictions fear that cooperation with federal immigration authorities will undermine trust in immigrant communities and make it more difficult for local law enforcement to serve these populations.” However, ” Safe Zone policies ultimately end up shielding dangerous criminals who often prey on the same communities.”

The case of a criminal illegal alien from El Salvador Victor Martínez Hernandez is a shocking example of how deadly this policy is.

Hernandez was raped and killed Rachel Morin – a 37-year-old mother of five from Harford County, Maryland – in August 2023.

The victim's mother, Patty Morinsaid her daughter grew up on the path where Hernandez attacked her.

Morin testified about the incident before the U.S. House of Representatives Homeland Security Committee.

“An illegal immigrant who had fled El Salvador had been waiting for them on the trail,” she said. “I was told they grabbed her, dragged her through the woods, raped her, strangled her and murdered her. We were told her body was covered in bruises.”

“Looking at her when I went to the funeral home, I can tell you it was probably the most graphic thing I've ever seen,” Morin continued.

Investigators were able to locate Hernandez because his DNA was taken when he was charged in connection with an earlier attack on a mother and her child in California. There was also an arrest warrant against him in connection with a murder charge in El Salvador.

“If they had followed current border protocols and ignored just a simple DNA swab, they would have known that he had an INTERPOL warrant for murder in his home country,” said Patty Morin. “They say the borders are secure. We live 1,800 miles from the southern border. You’re not safe.”

“If there is a sanctuary city in your state, you are not safe,” she added.

Congresswoman from South Carolina Nancy Mace recently indicted Charleston County sheriff Kristin Graziano compromising public safety in the Palmetto State by refusing to participate in ICE's efforts to detain criminal illegal aliens.

“Under your leadership, the Charleston County Sheriff's Office has refused to provide U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement with a reasonable waiting period to take custody of illegal aliens and has refused to provide ICE with notice prior to their release, that you have an illegal alien in custody. Mace wrote in her letter (.pdf).

“In fact, Charleston County has been recognized by ICE as a non-cooperative institution. In other words, they deliberately and systematically allow criminal illegal aliens to move freely in Charleston County and surrounding areas. They specifically endanger residents, adults and children.”

In a brief response, Graziano accused Mace of practicing “performative politics.”

SC representative Jordan Pace sent a letter to Graziano saying, “No part of South Carolina should be a haven for illegal immigration.”

The issue of illegal immigration, which ranks second only to the economy in opinion polls of likely voters, is likely to play an outsized role in the upcoming presidential election.

CBS NewsThe moderators of the vice presidential debate pointed out last night (October 1, 2024) that their own polls show that “a majority of Americans, more than 50 percent, support mass deportations,” a central argument of the former US president Donald Trump's campaign.

Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Waltz claimed during the debate that “we could come together and solve the problem if we didn't let Donald Trump continue to make it an issue.”

“When it becomes such a topic of conversation, we dehumanize and denigrate other people,” Walz said.

Republican vice presidential nominee JD Vance said it's about “the president and the vice president authorizing our law enforcement to say, 'If you try to come across the border illegally, you must stay in Mexico and return through the proper channels.'”

Vance pointed to the federal government's facilitation of transportation 20,000 Haitians to Springfield, Ohio as an example of the social costs of mass immigration.

“Look, in Springfield, Ohio, and in communities across the country, there are schools that are overwhelmed, hospitals that are overwhelmed, housing that is completely unaffordable because we have brought millions of illegal immigrants there to compete with Americans scarce houses,” he said. “The people I worry about most in Springfield, Ohio are the American citizens whose lives have been destroyed by Kamala Harris’ open border.”

It is unclear exactly how Trump would enable the mass deportations desired by the majority of Americans, but reintegration measures such as requiring asylum seekers to remain in Mexico could stem the flow of illegal immigrants on the first day of Trump's second term.

Even without the presidency — or control of both the U.S. House of Representatives and Senate — Republican members of Congress could end tax funding of the importation of illegal immigrants by refusing to pass a budget that would allocate hundreds of millions of dollars to nongovernmental organizations that continue to do so illegally Facilitate immigration.

Yes, Your tax dollars fund these illegal immigrants to get to our border. The Haitians did not fly here themselves.

Republican members (if they take the issue seriously) can also eliminate the taxpayer-funded housing, transportation, food, health care, cell phones, etc. that lure these non-contributors to America.

A government shutdown is preferable to destroying America by importing millions of people with no intention of making a positive contribution to our society – or even being a part of our society. We should not subsidize the undercutting of American workers who must demand higher wages than their imported replacements because not all of their expenses add to the ever-growing national debt.

Stop the gravy train, and the immigrants who are here only to abuse Americans' generosity will be deported.

If Congress and the next president want to permanently solve this problem, they must change the rules for applying for asylum. These laws were written in the postwar period by people who foresaw the chaos and consequences of mass migration and wanted to use these consequences to destabilize the Western world.

Only in Europe and North America is anyone who crosses the national border and applies for asylum allowed to remain there until the validity of their application can be checked… Why? Because this framework is social suicide.

Something this media company has been saying for years, by the way…

The West's leadership is heavily infiltrated by individuals intent on weakening once-great nation-states so that a transatlantic undemocratic government can be installed. Americans' support for mass deportations is a clear rejection of this decades-long attempt to undermine our sovereignty.

Regrettably, many current Republican lawmakers are under the thumb of those who committed this grave betrayal of American interests, but the enemies of the nation-state are foolish if they believe that the American people themselves can be bought off so easily.
