Josh Allen and Sam Darnold headline the NFL Players of the Month for September 2024 | News, results, highlights, statistics and rumors

The NFL released its September Players of the Month on Thursday, with two quarterbacks highlighting the list.

In the AFC, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, Baltimore Ravens linebacker Kyle Van Noy and Pittsburgh Steelers kicker Chris Boswell were named offensive, defensive and special teams players of the month, respectively .

In the NFC, Minnesota Vikings breakout quarterback Sam Darnold was named Offensive Player of the Month, Detroit Lions defensive end Aidan Hutchinson was recognized on defense, and Dallas Cowboys kicker Brandon Aubrey took home special teams honors “take home.

Finally, Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels was named the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Month, while Los Angeles Rams linebacker Jared Verse earned rookie honors on the defensive side of the ball.
