The Witcher 3 players are amazed by hidden quests we've all been missing for years

We all know it The Witcher 3 is a huge game. Large. Simply epic in scope. There are so many quests and things to see that it's understandable if you missed something while playing through.

It seems that a player managed to miss a great quest despite playing for a very long time and unlocking all the trophies for the game.

This player, calum769, popped up on Reddit to express his shock that he had never discovered a particular quest, and others were equally baffled that they didn't know about it.

The quest we're focusing on is called “Greenhouse Effect,” and it has Geralt searching for exotic herbs that only appear after a certain weather effect – which may be why people miss the quest.

The quest chain begins after an unnatural weather effect is observed in the southeast corner of Kaer Morhen Valley.

The original post to Witcher 3 Reddit highlights how easy this is to miss: “I can't believe it, so many years after playing through the game and all of its DLC and earning all the trophies, I'm stumbling across New Gen Version I content.” I I don’t think I’ve ever seen it before.”

A response from Osirus9 explains: “This has been in the game for a long time, but you're right, it's very easy to miss.”

While another user expressed: “There's a reason this game is officially one of the best of all time.”

It's always hard to get 100% on a game because it really depends on your definition of what that means. Even if you get all the trophies or achievements, that doesn't mean you've really seen everything.

Calum769 continues: “I was just looking through a list of the best order of quests and this quest name came up, I googled it and realized it wasn't in my completed section.”
