Pledge to earn $GOG without locks in Gruff's Vault, a new Guild of Guardians rewards program| PlayToEarn

Developer Mineloader has announced the launch of Gruff's Vault for the Guild of Guardians gaming and earn idle RPG community, allowing anyone to stake their $GOG tokens and earn more of them without facing bans!

What is Gruff's Vault?

Gruff's Vault is a new rewards program that allows $GOG holders to stake their tokens and earn more of them from the prize pools allocated to each 28-day epoch without locking up tokens. Participants essentially promise to hold a certain number of tokens in their wallets during this period while still maintaining full control over their holdings. Staking your tokens earlier in an epoch can net you higher rewards.

If you've won $GOG from leaderboard competitions or are simply keeping them with you, then this new program is a great way to stake your tokens for the chance to grow your supply while you “actively” participate by completing a simple task such as owning an NFT from one of the game collections.

Here's how to enter the $400,000 GOG First Epoch of Gruff's Vault

To join the first epoch of Gruff's Vault, you must not only stake at least 100 $GOG tokens held in your Immutable Passport wallet, but you must also own all Guild of Guardians NFTs on the same wallet. This Web3 game has 5 different NFT collections on Immutable zkEVM, and you can purchase assets from these collections via NFT marketplaces such as TokenTrove or Sphere. Guardians/Heroes appear to be the cheapest assets you can find at the time of writing, with a minimum price of around $1.20 in $ETH on both marketplaces.

Owning a GOG NFT is the only option available for the first epoch of this system. In the future, there will instead be two additional options that you can choose to become eligible to participate. These two options include either purchasing from Eri's Store or making an offering on the altar. Both tasks are marked as “coming soon” on the corresponding page of the program.

Once this is all set up, you can use the link in the official announcement to go to the program's official page where you can connect your Passport to start staking at least 100 $GOG tokens. Support for other Web3 wallets is coming soon. You can enter the 4-week cycle at any time, but the sooner you do so, the more rewards you can earn. You cannot increase your contribution during the cycle, but this feature may be added in the future if the community requests it. Even if your tokens are not locked in this system, you should ensure that your token balance does not fall below the amount you have chosen, because if it does, your stake will be canceled and you will not receive any rewards for it.

There's a total prize pool of 400,000 $GOG tokens up for grabs in this first era, starting October 2nd, 2pm AEST, so you'll be pretty early if you get in now. You cannot know in advance how many rewards you will receive from the prize pool as the rewards are calculated based on the total time and “weight” of all amounts pledged. Essentially, however, you want to stake as many tokens as possible as early as possible to have a chance of receiving a larger share of the reward pool at the end of the cycle.

The number of tokens available in each era's prize pool will be decided by the Guild of Guardians team in the early cycles as they track token health metrics and user adoption to determine an appropriate amount. Finally, the developers will release a formula based on ecosystem activity so that the community can figure out what the next epoch's reward pool will be. According to information on the vault's page, prize pools are funded 20% from Web3 primary sales, 20% from secondary store royalties, 20% from $GOG used in the altar, and 20% from net revenue from Ascension Seal purchases.
