Police search for missing Nassau girl, 15

HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. — A 15-year-old from Hempstead was reported missing Wednesday afternoon, Nassau police said.

According to police, Hannah Schenck was last seen on Maplewood Avenue around 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday and was reported missing around 4 p.m. on Wednesday.

She is described as 1.70 m tall, weighing around 50 kg, with blonde and red hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing gray sweatpants and a red sweater, police said.

According to police, their destination is unknown.

Investigators are asking the public for help in finding her and ask anyone with information about her whereabouts to contact the Missing Persons Investigations Unit at 516-573-7347 or call 911.
